Impacting Advisors Coaching

FAQs

How is your program different from other Coaching programs?

There are lots of great Coaching programs out there, but ours is specifically designed for financial planning professionals.

What’s unique about Impacting Advisors Coaching is we coach not only you, but your key staff members as well. As a team, you’ll make critical decisions about hiring, firing, what to outsource strategically, and your firm-wide culture. Working together in our Coaching program, you and your team will develop a common language and a game plan to attack your biggest growth opportunities.

We take you “Behind the Curtain” of our billion-dollar team-managed business that breaks the rules of linear thinking. We share all our philosophies and even better, all the systems for consistently delivering exceptional client experiences that generate true Ambassadors.

Your annual membership includes:

  • 3 two-day Coaching sessions with Michael Grossman and Impacting Advisors Team
  • 9 monthly, interactive Webinars
  • Unlimited access to your Coaching Liaison Team for same-day answers to your questions
  • Use of proprietary Financial Planning Software with interactive training
  • Access to our experts on every topic of running a successful financial services firm

How often do we meet?

Each year we hold 3 two-day Coaching sessions with Michael Grossman and the Impacting Advisors team: January, May and September. The 9 months of the year, we hold 90-minute interactive Webinars.

Who should I bring?

Most of our Coaching members bring at least 1 or 2 key operations employees. We suggest you and your firm will benefit most if you bring your “right-hand" person, the person who will implement all the ideas you hear at Coaching, the person who will execute the new ideas you want to try… really, the person who is running your firm.

What happens between sessions?

You have an open invitation to keep looking “Behind the Curtain” and audit all of the Webinars we offer to our clients and prospects. As a member of our Coaching program, you get to watch our advisors work; you are cordially invited to attend all our events via Webinar and hear what we’re actually saying to clients regarding the State of the Market and other issues that come up in our industry. It becomes very easy for you to borrow our words.

You also get unlimited access to your Director of Coaching Relationships to collaborate on your personal and team development.

What is my commitment?

Membership is a one-year commitment. How involved you are is your choice. You can call or email with questions and your Director of Coaching Relationships will give you the answers you need, usually within hours.

What is my investment?

One advisor bringing a key team member:

$10,000 annually, billed quarterly in increments of $2,500

*Additional team members: $2,000 each,
billed quarterly in increments of $500

One advisor not bringing a key team member:

$12,000 annually, billed quarterly in increments of $3,000

Clearly, it’s in your best interest (for several reasons) to bring a key team member!

Our topics are continuously changing as our firm grows and innovates. We now manage over $1 billion in assets under management, and we'll share with you the real ways we got here.

Why bring your key operations team members with you?

Your decision to make this investment closes the communication gap, gets you all on the same page, gives your team opportunities to grill our highly-trained team on the details, and speak to team members from financial firms around the country to get even more ideas to make your processes more efficient and profitable.

When your team has the buy-in for new ideas from the start, their sense of ownership and dedication will increase, and you'll see a surge in their Big Picture mentality.

When your whole team is speaking the same language, everyone moves forward at an unprecedented pace! Your team also becomes more tuned into your thinking, better equipped to anticipate what needs to be done, and more capable of supporting you with enthusiasm and knowledge. Almost immediately, you'll see more proactive, strategic, collaborative teamwork that leverages you to do what you should be doing in your business to create the greatest results.

Where do we meet?

Each May and September, we meet in Michael’s personal office, the headquarters for our financial services firm right outside of Hartford, CT. In January, our session is virtual, to avoid Connecticut snowstorms and save you travel expenses.

Who is a good candidate for Impacting Advisors Coaching?

Successful financial planning professionals who aren’t satisfied with the status quo and are serious about making changes. And know that your input shapes the curriculum. This is interactive coaching, so your concerns become our agenda topics. This isn't a Coaching Program to join passively. Be prepared to be disturbed. All business breakthroughs start with fear and insecurity – the very fuel of innovation. The results are simplicity, clarity, and epiphanies.
